Within the framework of the month, dedicated to prevention of HIV infection, the Department of Immunology and Allergology conducted the following activities:

On 14 November 2016 was conducted a training by 5-year students of “General medicine” specialty Dzhilisbaeva Gulnara, Isataeva Asel, Karavaeva Alina, Kabdullina Botagoz, Shatagulova Elvira, under the guidance of a professional trainer on “Prevention of HIV infection”, to pupils of 8 grade of schools No. 8, 16, 27, 103 of Temirtau. The students held a discussion with the pupils on the topic “What is HIV / AIDS”; then they actively discussed the ways of transmission, methods of protection and prevention. The event ended up with a collage contest, the best works were rewarded with memorable gifts and letters of thanks, and each participant received a certificate.

  On 25 November 2016 the students of the groups 3-067, 3-068, 3-072, 4-001a, 5-075, 5-076, 5-082 under the guidance of the Head of the Department Gazalieva M.A. and Assistant of the Department Izmailovich M.R. conducted an event at the hall of the academic building No. 4 (40 Gogol Street) and academic building No. 2 (7Alalykin Street). The students distributed the leaflets on HIV prevention, and answered questions.

On 30 November 2016 on the basis of the Regional Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS was held a round table on the topic “Prevention of HIV infection. The risk of occupational infections”, arranged by the Assistant of the Department Izmailovich M.R., for 3-year students of “General medicine” specialty. The Epidemiologist of the Regional Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS Kuznetsov Nikolay Pavlovich made a report on possible risks of professional infection, prevention methods and emergency care. The students of SSC Zholchubek Nurmahan, Askarov Erbolat, Erzhanov Arman, Zhaksylyk Mukhit, Rymbaeva Dana, Seitkerim Zhansaya made presentations. According to the opinion of the participants of the round table, the chosen topic is relevant, has practical significance and attracted great interest. The event was attended by the Vice-Dean of 3 course of “General medicine and dentistry” specialty M.S. Abdykalykova, the Director of Studies of the Department R.T. Kozhanova.

  In December 2016 on the basis of the Dental Clinic was held a round table meeting on the topic “Prevention of HIV infection.The risk of occupational infections”.
