On 8 November, Youth Work Department together with the Theatrical art circle of KSMU, headed by Z. Zhumadilova, conducted a charity event in the framework of the “Hospital Clowns” project.

       “Hospital clowns” is a new direction in children rehabilitation system through creation of positive emotions. This type of rehabilitation of children with devastating diseases is widely used in the world. The method has scientifically proven positive influence on health of children.

         This time the funny clowns, wearing costumes of “Winnie the Pooh” (Kapezov Temirlan 3-001 OM), “Little Mouse” (Batazhan Camila 1-002 МПД) and "Cat" (Beketova Farida 1-001 ТФП), presented a piece of the holiday to the children who are treated at Municipal State Enterprise “Regional Children’s Hospital” of Karaganda.

         Children were very happy about the guests dressed in bright colorful costumes. They were radiant with joy and willingly played with us a variety of games, solved funny riddles. Little patients especially liked the game called “Uncle Abram” and the quiz “Guess correctly fairy-tale characters”. The most active and ingenious children received gifts from funny clowns.

        It was very nice to know that our action raised the spirits of children and helped them to forget about their diseases at least for a short time.
