On 10th November the interdisciplinary student conference « Degenerative diseases of central nervous system» was held by the Department of Psychiatry and Narcology, Neurology, Elementary Psychology and Communication Skills. 

Students of 1, 5 courses  on “General Medicine” specialty and interns of “General medical practice” and “Internal disease” - actively participated in the interdisciplinary student conference. 11 reports were presented according to modern views on etiopathogenesis and treatment of patients with these nosological forms. There were presented clinical practical cases. The reports were in Kazakh, Russian and English languages. The supervisors of the works were teachers conducting in these groups. The aim of the conference was the create an effective form of interdisciplinary cooperation the educational process within training of students and improving quality of teaching the disciplines.

The conference included an interdisciplinary discussion on topical issues of diagnosis and treatment and also prevention of mental and neurological disorders. The conference enabled development of students' skills in researching and RBL development of creativity, ability to apply interdisciplinary communication in solving problems, development of clinical thinking.

Participants of the conference will be awarded the certificates.
