The Multilingual Club’s meeting at the Foreign Languages Department.
On the 28th of October, the
first Multilingual Club’s meeting «Where
there’s a will there’s a way (a role and opportunities of multilingual
education) » was held at the Foreign Languages Department. The Head of the Foreign Languages Department
V.A.Burmistrova, the students of GM 1-016, 1-021,1-022,1-023participatedin the meeting.
During the meeting, the students discussed the issues of the importance, role and status of the multilingual education. There was the quiz, consisting of the questions of cultural notes in 3 languages: English, Kazakh, and Russian. The students were very interested in the task, devoted to using of the proverbs and idioms, they should give the equivalent of the proverbs in 3 languages.
As the result of the meeting, themultilingual game «Topic cards» was held to check the knowledge of students’ vocabulary on the concrete theme.
