On 22 October in Karaganda was held XIV Regional Debate Tournament for the Cup of “Nur Otan” Party. The main purpose of such tournaments is searching and encouragement of young politicians capable of holding a discussion, defending their point of view, protecting the interests of their team skillfully and convincingly.

     Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the participants of “Namys” and “INSIGHT” Debate clubs.

Due to 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Constitution of Kazakhstan was unanimously chosen as the topic of the tournament. The teams were invited to participate in lawmaking and to propose draft amendments to the basic law of the state.

     As a result of heated debates, all the participants tried themselves completely in the role of deputies, enacting the bill of our country. At the end of the debate, the competent jury allocated the places as follows:

II place - Savin Nikita (2-031 OM) and Azamat Kasymov (2-004 Стом), “INSIGHT” Debate club;

I place – Zhaibagysova Nadira (3-001 Фарм) and Zarlykova Ulzhan (4-047 OM) “Namys” Debate club. 

     The team of “Namys” Debate club won a card of admission to the Republican debate tournament in Astana.

     All prizewinners of the tournament were awarded diplomas and trophies.
