25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 26 October, the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan (APK) of Karaganda region, scientific and expert group of APK and the public association called “Youth movement for the future of Kazakhstan” held at KSMU the Regional Scientific and Practical Conference titled “Polyethnic society and modern state: national models and strategies”, dedicated to 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.    

          The Conference was a platform for establishment of information exchange among scientific community, development of university-college cooperation.

In the Conference program were included the reports on topical issues of the role of APK in preservation of national identity of peoples of Kazakhstan, on importance of educational component in formation of unified Kazakh national idea and maintenance of inter-ethnic harmony among the youth, and on ethnocultural and civil awareness of the national idea “Мәңгілік Ел” in multi-ethnic society.

      Scientists and teachers from universities and colleges of the region took part in the Conference.

  Within the framework of the Conference were arranged the following sections: “Role of Assembly of People of Kazakhstan in formation of Kazakhstan model of unity and tolerance” and “25 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Experience and prospects of state ethnic policy”.

    In the Conference resolution was made an emphasis on the achievements of Kazakhstan within 25 years of Independence in the direction of development of just society based on mutual respect to all ethnic groups and confessions represented in our country; the role of the Nation Leader N.A. Nazarbayev in ensuring stable development of the country. There were accepted recommendations through which the participants of the Conference suggested further collaboration of teaching staff of various educational institutions with young people in order to improve educational work, strengthen the unity and harmony in society, support to effective state ethnic policy, enhance cooperation with the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan of Karaganda region, ethnocultural associations for formation of Kazakhstan patriotism, improvement of forms and methods for consolidation of tolerance and inter-ethnic harmony.
