On 26 October at “Zhastar” sports centre was held an annual event called “Purity Cup: student league”. 9 teams of 90 people from universities and institutions of technical and professional education of the city took part in the action. The representatives of youth organizations of the city became the members of the jury. The tournament was held in 3 stages. As a result of the tournament the places were taken as follows: 1st place by “Эко Life” (KEU), 2nd place by “Медик” (KSMU), 3rd place by “Старт” (Zh.K. Bukenov Banking College).

         As the Captain of “Медик” team of KSMU said: “It was a great honor for us to participate as the representatives of KSMU. Besides the 2 place, this tournament helped to gain experience and find new friends. Each member of our team is a unique person in own way as the competition was based not only on sport skills, but also on the quiz in which had to be shown knowledge on “EXPO 2017” and “Environmental Code of RK”. The solidarity, mutual understanding and believing in ourselves enabled us to enter the top three despite the strong opponents of different age groups.

          We would like to express our gratitude to the organizers of the tournament and Youth Work Department for assistance in preparation for the tournament.
