Youth Work Department together with the Club of Initiative Students (CIS) organized a meeting with our dear teachers and labor veterans, who made a great contribution to the development of the University: A.I. Ponomarenko, A.V. Shibarova, M.Z. Sarsenbekova, U.S. Alkenova and G.R. Isina.

      In KSMU exists a system of support to labor and war-veterans. 

Therefore, this time the students went to give presents provided by the Trade Union of KSMU. The activists of CIS helped the veterans with housework, shopping and listened with great interest to the memories of honored people.

      The veterans told young people about the history of the University, life of students in the period of their teaching and about the difficulties that had to overcome in life.

      “When we went to visit veterans, we wanted to show them that they are not forgotten and taken care of. But after leaving them, we realized that we needed those meetings even more. We learn from these people resilience, optimism, and the most important thing such as love of the country in which we live!”, said the students.
