On 10 October, youth movement Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan of Karaganda region arranged a “Course training seminar for volunteers of Universiade-2017 for mastering the technique of training conduction among regional volunteers of Universiade-2017”. The event was held at TOO “Tekhnopark Sary-Arka”.

     The activists of the universities of Karaganda took part in the event.

     Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the participants of Local Committee of Alliance of Students of Kazakhstan in KSMU: Leader of ASK in KSMU Nurumbetova Fariza, Deputy Leader of ASK in KSMU Alpysbaeva Ainur, Member of ASK in KSMU Medina Kenzhetay and President of “Samruk” SR Samatov Temirlan. The aim of the seminar was to familiarize students with sports program of Universiade-2017, service to participants and functional areas of volunteers.

     In Universiade-2017 for the first time will be assigned 100 quotas for international volunteers. Participants of the seminar familiarized with the theoretical part of the project and took part in a mini-exhibition dedicated to Universiade-2017.

     Executive director of Alliance of Students of Karaganda region E.D. Makashev made an introductory presentation on the arrangement of Universiade-2017 which included not only functional areas of volunteers but also the history of formation of Universiade and its founders International University Sports Federation (FISU).
