Young leaders towards a common goal!
The priorities of youth policy are one of the key objectives of the
Strategy “Kazakhstan – 2050” initiated by the President of the Republic of
Kazakhstan – Leader of the nation N.A. Nazarbayev.
On the 23rd-24th of June on the base of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University the training seminar on the topic “The role of the Committees on Youth Affairs in realization of the state youth policy” was organized. The young leaders of the higher, technical and professional education institutions and enterprises from all the regions of Kazakhstan took part in the seminar. Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the specialist of the Department of Youth Affairs A.A. Mambetova.
At the beginning of the seminar the dialogue platform “Key aspects of the education reform in Kazakhstan” was constructed where the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan were speaking. For two days the participants of the seminar attended the teach-ins on the current topics in the field of youth policy – legal form of the Committees on Youth Affairs and their competence, participation of volunteers from the regions in the International Exhibition EXPO 2017, prevention and detection representatives of non-traditional religious movements in youth environment, development of corporate volunteering, SMM – promotion (social medical marketing) and on development of entrepreneurship among young people.
The cultural program for the participants of the seminar was held in the museums L.N. Gumilyov ENU. In addition, the young leaders visited the sights of the city (the Khasret Sultan Cathedral Mosque, the presidential residence “Ak Orda” and the symbol of the modern capital – Bayterek).
At the end of the seminar the round-table meeting “The best practices of the Committees on Youth Affairs of education and enterprise system” took place. This training seminar is an excellent tool for exchange of the experience between the representatives of the Committees on Youth Affairs of the regions of the country. We are grateful to the representatives of Scientific Research Center “Youth” for organizing the event and look forward to further cooperation.
