From the 4^th to the 9^th of July the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Karaganda State University, in conjunction with the dean of continuous professional development, organized and conducted a workshop on the “Biology of Individual Development.” The relevance of the topic was determined by the formation of a concentration in “General Medicine” for students to improve their competence of knowledge in the field of biomedical sciences through the study of elective subjects. This workshop was held as part of the commercialization of intellectual property. The contingent of students heard presentations from experts from the medical and biological areas and the faculty of KSMU.

Professor B.J. Kultanov and Associate Professor of the Department of B.T. Esilbaeva presented material on topical issues of modern developmental biology, held workshops, discussions, and training with the use of active forms of learning.

On the last day the results of the workshop were announced, feedback was received, exchange of views occurred, and certificates were awarded to participants of the master class.

The master class was held at the professional level, in a friendly atmosphere.
