The second republican contest of young teachers of higher education institutions «Teacher of the XXI century» was held on the 9-10 of June, 2016 the basis of the South Kazakhstan state institute. The contest aims at identifying the creative working teachers with high professional rating, as well as at dissemination of best teaching practices and enhance the prestige of the teaching profession.

The teachers with relevant qualifications, experience of scientific and pedagogical activity for at least 3 years took part in the contest.

The following criteria were taken into account: the ability of the applicant to present the concept of professional activity, to summarize the teaching experience; the effectiveness of the combination of best traditional and innovative experience, methodological skills in professional activities; creativity, improvisation, individual creative search; the level of communicative culture; the level of organizational qualities.

The contest was held in three stages. The competition jury consisted of the heads of higher education institutions, doctors and candidates of pedagogical sciences, teaching and guiding educators (principals, teachers with the highest state awards).

The Evaluation Committee decided that the Grand Prix of the republican contest of young academics «Teacher of the XXI century» was awarded Gaukhar Tleubekkyzy Igimbayeva, the candidate of medical sciences, associate professor of the department of internal diseases №3.
