On April 12, 2016 the International conference of young scientists and students "The world of science and youth: new ways of development", dated for day of Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in our University.

The purpose of conference is the extensive discussion of topical issues of medicine and health care, informing the public on scientific achievements of young scientists and students.

Over 200 participants from RK and countries abroad took part in conference for many years.

Main directions of the conference:

1. Public health care and hygiene

2. Clinical medicine

3. Laboratory and molecular medicine

At 9:00 registration to the conferees has begun, It should be noted that the greatest number of participants was included by the section "Clinical Medicine"

The end of registration has marked the beginning of Plenary Session where parting words were made by the deputy in charge for scientific work Turmukhambetova Anar Akylbekovna. A number of lectures took place during the meeting ;  professor from Germany, Ulrich Bitz with his report "Molecular diagnostics in acute myeloid leukemia for determination of prognosis, treatment strategy and relapse" was presented at the conference.

At 12:00 the final stage of the Competition of Student’s scientific group of KSMU was carried out where departments represented the achievements to the commission.

As a result, Winners of the competition "The Best Student’s Scientific group of KSMU" became:

The I place – Department of Microbiology

The II place – Department of stomatology of children's age and surgical stomatology

The III place – Department of molecular biology and medical genetics

Speeches of speakers with the subsequent discussions has begun; exactly at 14:00 it was the main part of the KSMU Scientific Conference.
