IMEC-2016
The International Medical Education Conference, organized by the
International Medical University took place from 20th April to the 22nd April
2016 at the International Medical University IMU Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia. The conference covered areas like Recognising cultural and
value-based experiences and challenges in health professions education both
nationally and internationally. Development of strategies and recommendations
to cope with challenges by using the best evidence and practices in health

- IMEC 2016 Malaysia is a 3-day interactive conference featuring
internationally renowned speakers and trainers, covering a wide range of topics
related to the impact and outcome of culture and values in the education and
practice of health professionals. IMEC 2016 Malaysia is also
platform for educational innovators to present their innovations for the Ron
Harden Innovation in Medical Education (RHIME) Award.
There were delegates from more than 30 countries. Karaganda State medical education was represented by tutor of CME Lilit Najaryan with poster presentation “The Reflection-based learning for CPD”.
International Medical University, Malaysia invites all staff and faculty of our university to attend IMEC-2017 “HEALTH PROFESSIONS EDUCATION WITHOUT BORDERS”, which will take place in the 7th-9th of April, 2017. This conference will look at the various aspects of health professions education without borders, and how this may improve healthcare worldwide.
