Department of Russian language carried out the festive event “Welcome, Nauryz!” on March 17^th of 2016 in the dormitory №7.

First year students of the specialty “Medical-preventive care” and foreign students organized and took an active part in the celebration. Under guidance of senior teacher of Russian language Department Bekbalakova N.A. and teacher Mudrovskaya A.M. were designed the event’s screenplay was designed, traditional Kazakh dishes was prepared, and room was decorated.

Deputy-deans of Preventive medicine, biology and pharmacy department Kamarova Aisulu Makashevna and Omarova Ainur Kuralbayevna were the special guests on the celebration.

Kamarova A.M. and the head of Russian language Department Akisheva Zh. S. started the celebration concert with their greeting speech. They noted that Nauryz is the united celebration for various Turkish nations and it symbolizes the beginning of new life and New Year.

Then students presented the celebration program and demonstrated the Kazakh national customs such as “Bata”, “Betashar” and “Shashu”. The Kazakh dance “Qara Zhorgha” and Indian national dance “Rajasthan” were presented by foreign students that called storm of applauses. The Indian musical composition Shyreshty performed by Indian students Mohammad Mujahid and Abdulla called the great interests from students, teachers and guests. This event let foreign students to know closer the culture and traditions of multiethnic Kazakhstan.

In the end of celebration all students were awarded with gratitude letters.
