On February 19,The XІI city poetic competition of the name of О.Bokey and М.Makataev was conducted in S.Seyfullin Kazakh drama  theatre at the assistance of SD "Department of culture and development of languages".

  The students of universities of Karaganda and the students of polytechnic college, all in all more than 50 participants took part in the competition.The Karaganda state medical university was represented by the members of authorial poetic club ”Zhyr zhaukhar”: Оnbay Sаlamat (4-011 GМ), Smagul Nazgul (4-047 GМ), Kumis Balzhan (2-051 GМ) and Zhuatay Kuanysh (1-012 GМ).

  The competition consisted of 2 stages: first, participants demonstrated artistic read skills, reading fragments from prose of О.Bokey.According to the results of the first stage, the 15 best participants were admitted to the second stage, where they competed in declamation.Students read by heart the favourite works of the well-known Kazakhstan poet М.Makataev.

  At the end of competition a competent judge defined the winners. The Grand-prix of competition  by the unanimous decision of jury conquered student of KSMU Оnbay Sаlamat .

  The winners were awarded diplomas and valuable gifts.We congratulate Salamat and wish creative successes! The poetic evening nobody affected everybody.We are pleased, that realization of similar cultural actions becomes a good tradition in Karaganda,because young people need the events promoting love to the artistic word and high poetry.
