A meeting of students with the clergy
The meeting of students with the clergy was organized in the KSMU on february
11, 2016. Members of advocacy groups were attended there: naib imam of the
regional central mosque – S.A.Kurmanov, head of the diocesan Department "Church
and Society", М.А.Patrickeyev, head of advocacy at KSU "Center for the Study and
analyze the problems of interfaith relations of the Karaganda region – R.A.Samataev; assistant
to the rector – A.O.Saukhymov,
chairman of the commission for the prevention of religious extremism and
terrorism in KSMU – S.A.Nikiforova.
Ruslan Aydarovich Samataev informed the students about the State program on combating religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2013 - 2017 years. Clergy representatives explained to the students that all the religions of the world - together in the fight against terrorism.
Students asked questions and received own answers. In order to fully inform and consult the guests invited students to their institutions.
