On February, 8, Department on work with young people together with the participants of debate club "Insight" conducted in  in KSMU the tournament sanctified to the prevention of oncological diseases called "We can! I can!"

According to WHO, cancer diseases ranked fifth in the list of the 10 leading causes of death in the world. Basic illnesses that carry away most human lives are ischemic heart trouble, stroke, respiratory infections of lower respiratory tracts, chronic obstructive illness of lungs and oncology. For example, in Kazakhstan, over 80 people get cancer every day. That is why the debate club «Insight» decided to choose the theme of this issue of the upcoming tournament. The topic is very serious and our students prepared to it with a big responsibility. During the discussions the newest methods of diagnosis and treatment of cancer were discussed. Nobody remained indifferent, everyone defended his point of view and as a result, it was not easy for judges to pick a winner.

After a long discussion judges distributed places in the following way:

1st place – BPF, Russian League, "Legion" Danoyan Garik (2084 GMF) - Gladiator.

2nd place – BPF, Russian League, "Aliot" Gofman Sabina (2054 GMF) - Gladiator.

3rd place – BPF, Russian League, "Slon" Akhmetova Sholpan (2055 GMF), Zhumashev Sanjar (2071 GMF).

All winners of the tournament were awarded diplomas and got a lot of positive emotions.
