Russian neuropathology through the eyes of residents.

Russian neuropathology through the eyes of residents.

26 January 2016

From 5/12/15 till 12/27/15 resident neurologists of the 1st year of training consisting of: R. Tuleuov, A. Pokrashenko, S. Berzhapparova, Zh. Nurgaliyeva, held a monthly cycle of "Neurology" at the Orenburg State Medical University on the program of academic mobility in the Department of Neurology Faculty of post-graduate education. The training took place in the form of problem-oriented lectures and workshops on clinical bases of the department - in primary vascular center, expanded on the basis of the City Clinical Hospital named after N.I. Pirogov, Department of Neurology Regional Clinical Hospital №2 Department of Neurology and Center for veterans of all wars.

Teaching staff of the department welcomed us with great warmth and hospitality, topics were discussed vividly and with a great interest. We would like to thank the teachers, namely: Head of the department: Professor Dr. V.V. Burdakov, Ph.D. A.I. Safronova, associate professor, Ph.D. E.V. Aprelev, associate professor, assistant professor N.V. Gumalatova, Ph.D. associate professor, Yu.S. Sevastyanova.

At the end of the cycle, after passing the internal exam, Head of the department, Professor, MD V.V. Burdakov noted the high level of training of our residents and thanked the head of the department of neurology department, professor M.G. Abdrakhmanova, and expressed his wish for closer cooperation between our universities, and our departments in particular. Also, residents were presented with certificates of advanced training in neurology.

It was also very interesting to learn the history of the city in the course of exploring the historic city center, and during a visit to the Orenburg governor's History Museum, and the Museum of History of Orenburg named after Pushkin. It is a beautiful city, which turned 272 years old with lots of historical buildings and monuments. Thus, the program of academic mobility has allowed us to establish contacts with colleagues from the neighboring country. We will remember the warmth of the time spent in Orenburg, and we hope that our universities will establish more closer contact.
