The Dissertation Council on specialty 110100 6D "Medicine" began work for the first time in Medical University of Astana in November 28, 2015. The head of Council was d.m.s., professor G.R. Batpenova

The Dissertation Council was consisted of 10 members. Karaganda State Medical University was represented by Vice-Rector, d.m.s., professor A.A. Turmukhambetova and Head of the Department of Neurology d.m.s., professor M.G. Abdrakhmanova.

We, Y.A. Yukhnevich and D.K. Kaliyeva, were the first of all PhD students of Medical Universities of Republic Kazakhstan  who defended  of the thesis in the Dissertation Council of AMY.  The defense of thesis was successful due to coordinated work of the Dissertation Council and benevolent atmosphere created by members of the Council.

We want to mention the constant care and assistance from our esteemed scientific supervisors during the doctoral studies, tendered in the period of the work on the thesis and preparation for public defense. We express our deep appreciation to d.m.s., professor M.M. Tussupbekova, d.m.s., professor  R.H. Begaidarova, c.m.s., associate professor Sh.S. Kaliyeva, d.m.s., professor Y.M. Turgunov.

We express our deep appreciation to d.m.s., professor S.V. Lokhvitskiy for his support and assistance during our defense of the thesis. 

We are especially grateful to our foreign supervisors professor S. Tabagari and professor T. Chachkhiani from Medical University of D. Tvildiani, Georgia for their assistance in conducting of training.

We would like to say a big thank to the Director of KSMU laboratory, d.m.s., professor I.S. Azizov, master of medical science D.B. Babenko and all the staff of the laboratory. We thank d.m.s., professor G.V. Fedotovskih and employees of the Central Research Laboratory of the National Scientific Medical Center in Astana.

We express our deep gratitude to the Rector of KSMU, d.m.s, professor R.S. Dosmagambetova, Vice-Rector of scientific work d.m.s., professor A.A.
