The first rally of young journalists and bloggers

On the 26^th of November in "Dostar Alem" hotel the first rally of young journalists and bloggers was held by the center for work with the youth of Karaganda city. The purpose of this event was creation of a unified platform for dialogue not only for young journalists and bloggers, active students, representatives of student mass media but also for pupils, who want to link their lives with this profession in the future. College and university students who study journalism, and pupils took part in the rally. Members of Ministry of Communications and Information and association of journalists of KSMU under the direction of Ospanova D. T. visited this event as representatives of our university.

This event consisted of a few blocks. After the registration of students the plenary meeting of the rally, where topical questions of informational work were raised for the discussion, was held. In particular, themes of a blogging, transition of mass media from print to internet were touched; editor of the information and entertainment portal "Ekaraganda", correspondent of the magazine "Vybiray" and a journalist of the channel "Novoe TV" shared their experience.

Then in the conference room the master class on "Bases of advancement and development in social networks" was carried out. Lots of advices were given at the master class, typical mistakes made at the beginning of a career path were considered. Plan on development of blogger network among a student audience was discussed on the meeting.

After a small break platform for dialogue on the theme "Illumination of the realization of youth policy in the media resource: actual problems and measures of development" was held to summarize the rally. A lot of questions were raised on the discussion: the image of the journalist of the 21st century; representatives of higher education institutions and schools shared their experiences, they told about print media that their institutions had; representatives of the rally shared their ideas for improving and developing mass media.

During the conversation a lot of questions were raised. They might be the main topics at the second rally of young journalists and bloggers that will be the bigger than the first one. We hope we will take part in this event.

At the end of the event all representatives of the rally were rewarded with "Letters of thanks" on behalf of mayor of Karaganda city for creativity and active participation in social and political life of the region.
