From 26.07.15 to 23.08.15 the representatives of the Medical Universities from Kazakhstan,  Tajikistan, Russia had taken a part in International scientific expedition to East Pamir (Murgab village, 3660 meter above sea level high), which was organized by Tajik State Medical University named after Abuali ibni Sino. The expedition was managed by professor, Head of Normal Physiology Department of TSMU F.A. Shukurov.

  The members of expedition: honorable scientist of science and technology of Russian Federation, professor A.V.Gulin, assistant professor of Psychiatry and Narcology named after professor M.G.Gulyamov, president of CRL in TSMU M.A. Khidirov, assistant professor of Physiology Department of Karaganda State Medical University E.Y. Salikhova .

In Murgab village expedition participants explored more than 300 highlands residents, among which were pregnant women on different periods of pregnancy. The investigation was held in clinic conditions, as well as at home. Functional condition of Cardiovascular system, condition of autonomic nervous system, the health stages, the level of tension of regulatory systems of human organism were determined. Oral cavity and teeth conditions were determined too. All examined people passed the psychophysical test with the usage of “Psycho-Test” complex in order to determine the structure of personality, the degree of anxiety, psychosocial adaptation skills, personal and reactive anxiety, expressed extraversy-introversy, the stability of nervous processes.

Head Doctor of district clinic of Murgab village Hurosaniev Hurosani Sultonalievich has rendered huge help in the organization of the investigation. Head of clinic Said Mansurovich, young doctors-TSMU, Osh Medical University and Kirgiz Medical Academy graduates were very active and helpful too. The expedition members have met the harsh conditions of work and life in the highlands.

In Horoga (the capital of the Mountain-Badakhshan autonomy, 2000 meter high) the drug addicted people were examined. The expedition members met the rector of  Horog State University named after Nazarshoev, d.e.s., professor Sh.B., Jonmamadov rendered visit to botany garden, where many of Former Soviet Union presidents sat into, also visited the Memorial of Great Tajik-Persian poet Nosiri Khosrav, got knows the life conditions and tha architecture of Pamir houses.

The scientific expedition members visited healing sources “Garmchamsha”, “Bibifotima-Zukhra” and “Avch”, which have great importance in medicine. Special attention was given to uniqueness of “Avch” water source. This accident led to offer to Republic of Tajikistan Medical sciences Academy the elaboration of aimed scientific program M3 RT, which includes scientific research with further realization of results of many investiganions and organization of recreation with health department of Republic means – “Avch” resort.

Today the results of scientific researches of Pamir are being elaborated, and soon will be presented for publication.

TSMU administration expressed gratitude to KSMU Rector, professor Dosmagambetova Raushan Sultanovna for giving the opportunity to Karaganda Medical University to take a part in scientific expedition to East Pamir with the hope for further collaboration in scientific research dedicated to studying about influence of mountain hypoxia at human organism.
