The regional subject Olympiad in "Biology"
The subject Olympiad for pupils of 9 -11 grades of the secondary education schools, gymnasiums and lyceums of Karaganda city was held on March 31, 2015 in the framework of the 65th anniversary of KSMU. Olympiad was organized jointly with the Middle Educational School №5 and Resource center of Karaganda city. 10 different tasks were prepared by the employees of the department Molecular Biology and Medical Genetics for "Biology" Olympiad. Each version contained 25 questions, that included biology sections: "botanics", "general biology", "cytology", "development biology" and "genetics", including 3 tasks for development of logical thinking.
180 students from 43 schools of Karaganda were registered. There were 100 works in Russian language and 80 works in Kazakh language. Director of the Middle Educational School №5 and Resource Centre, Basira Kazbekovna Utemurtova and vice – rector of methodological and teaching activities of KSMU Molotov-Luchanskiy Vilen Borisovich, head of Molecular Biology and Medical Genetic Department, professor Kultanov Berik Zhukenovich, deputy dean of «General Medicine and Stomatology» Department Elubaeva Maral Kuandykovna, deputy dean of «Prophylactic Medicine biology and formation» Omarova Ainur Kuralbekovna participated in the opening of Olympiad.
The results of Olympiad were summed up on April, 10 of this year. The Best knowledge in Biology was showed by the pupil of 11 grade of Gymnasium № 38 Ganiolla Aiza Chingisovna and the pupil of 11 grade of Gymnasium 92 Abildinova Elmira Alievna. By the decision of the Commission they were recognized the winners and awarded the Diplomas of the 1st degree.
Zhumabaev Sanzhar Muratovich (Middle School № 30, 11 grade) and Ainabek Aiganum (Gymnasium № 39, 11 grade) were awarded the Diplomas of the second degree.
Pen Marina Yurievna, gymnasium № 38 and Burkitbay Merei Arlenuly, Middle School № 18 were awarded the Diplomas of the third degree. All winners were awarded the official Gifts.
Other participants, that got lower points in Olympiad, were given official diplomas for the active participation in subject Olympiad.
All participants were awarded certificates for their participation in the Olympiad.
