In 2015 our is country going to celebrate the 550 th anniversary of Kazakh khanate. Scientific conferencies will be conducted, scientific and popular articlies will be published and I am sure that TV programms will be broadcasted. As the teachers of the university, we have the aim to interest students in national history, arous geniune interest in past of our nation. It can be achieved by visual means of training such as pictures placed in presentations about historical monuments, which are important for our history.

  There are a lot of articles and chapters in books have been written about development of Kazakh khanate. But, only historians know that all information about emerging of new nation at South Kazakhstan in the 15th century is only described by one author in his fundamental work. This is medieval author of the 16 century, scientist and statesman, Mirza Muhammad Haidar Dughlat who wrote the work «Tarikh-i-Rashidi». Exactly in this work he, the first author ever, described facts about moving of sultan Dhaznibek and Kerey from khanate of Abulkhair to Mogulistan, gave us exact date of development of Kazakh khanate — 1465-1466 years. He is the first author to explane genesis and social meaning of the term «Kazakhs». There is Taraz state university named after this author and also in his honor the monument has been boiled. Not long ago, in the begining of 21th century, Kazakstani scientist and religious figure, Absattar Derbisaly had found the grave of Mirza Muhhammad Haidar Dughlat which is located in Kashmir, Srinagar city.

  Therefore, we are as colleagues were very much looking forward to return of the senior teacher of the department Kovtun O. A. from the dangerous place (Kashmir is a disputed territory of India and Pakistan). She went to the place, she was dreaming about for a long time, to the grave of the scientist whose name is mentioned in all her books of the history of Kazakhstan and in historical books of Kyrgizstan and Uzbekistan. I have to tell you in secret, it was a havy duty task: other country, strict tradiotions of islam, not stable situation in the region (from time to time news broadcasting about acts of terrorism and religious conflicts there), all that was dangerous for the young lady with an europian appearance.

  This is precisely why Olga Alexeyevna is grateful to her student Parviz Dar Mukhiddin graduated from KSMU, because he and his family accompony her during this travel. She had chance to experience hospitality of Indian family.

  Then, the goal was reached: Srinagar, near the mausoleum named after Zain Ul' Abbedin on the bank of Dzhelum river, she found the place - the old grave. This is the headstone, cracked because of time...

  After arriving in Karaganda, Kovtun O.A. decided to countercheck the pictures she took there and sent her material to Absattar Derbisaly, who confirmed the identity of that historical monument. The inscription on the headstone has beent translated by  Absattar Derbisaly few years ago. Olga Alexeyevna gave to department with pleasure these invaluable pictures to use as lecture material for students. Also, she agrees to participate in the meeting of historical group, with presentation dedicated to the topic - the 550 th anniversary of the country on the territory of Kazakhstan.
