International scientific-practical conference "Spirituality. Society. Medicine. Social challenges" was held on December 3, 2014. Conference was opened by the Academic Dean Professor V.B. Molotov-Luchansky. At the plenary session presentations were made by R.A. Abzalova, MD, professor, director of Training and Practical Center of Family Medicine "Demeu", Chief Specialist in primary health care and social work of Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Astana) with the theme "The healing power of spirituality in the practice and nursing care” and D. Autalipova (Almaty) with the theme "I am with you! Hospital Clowns ", L.L. Maciyevskaya, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Foundations of psychology and communication skills with a course of nursing care (Karaganda) with the theme "Cultural and family values and traditions in a positive psychotherapy".

Pauliukas Mindaugas (Vilnius), Bruziyene Milda (Vilnius), M. S. Vladovskaya (Novosibirsk), M. G. Chukhrova (Novosibirsk), I.N. Pokrovskaya (Moscow) and S. Zh. Nazarbayeva (Aktobe), D. Autalipova (Almaty), E.B. Kovalyova (Pavlodar), Z.H. Hasenova (Astana) took active part in the work of conference. Also representatives of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan were invited to the conference.

The multiorientation of conference was expressed in work of the following sections: "Family as a source of spiritual and moral and physical development of the personality"; "A spirituality role in system of valuable orientations of modern youth"; "Spirituality of the personality as social and philosophical problem"; "A role of national traditions in education of culture of the interethnic relations" (a round table); "Psychological and somatic health of a family"; "Medical-social aspects of health of the younger generation". Conference had more than 46 participants. Reports were submitted in Kazakh and Russian languages on actual problems of medicine, society, a family. Conference was finished by certificates awarding.
