On the eve of the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan a competition "Intellectual of the first year – 2014” was held in Karaganda State Medical University. It was organized by the members of amateur talent group "Konferans" under the direction of Department of Educational and social work with students.

Participants of the competition: Ayman Bedeysheva (1-061 GM) Bektur Uzenu Ulu (1-069 GM) Nurtolkyn Tolegen (1-012 GM) Akbota Bakyt (1-012 GM), Valeriya Alexeyeva (1-002 FPT) Zhandos Sakenbaev (1-002 MPD). The participants demonstrated their knowledge of the history of Kazakhstan, and biography of the President of Kazakhstan, flexible thinking, concentration and switching of attention, as well as knowledge of the state and English languages.

Moderators of the competition: Azami Rasulova (3-083 GM), Aidyn Telmanov (1-011 GM)  Aiganym Alimbekova (3-091 GM). Participated in the organization : Kabdusheva Aizhan (5-005 PH) Yugay Anastasia (2-077 GM) Kalimullina Elsa (1-072 GM). The jury are the teachers of the department of history of Kazakhstan and PSD: Milaeva I.I., Baymamyrov A.A. and Mustafina T.V. The contest was held in 4 stages: "Welcome", "Quiz», «STORY» (explaining of topic), "Intellectual Tour".

According to the results of the contest: the 1st place - Bektur Uzenu Ulu (1-069 GM), the 2nd place - Valeriya Alexeyeva (1-002 FPT), and the 3rd place - Ayman Bidayshieva (1-061 GM).

All participants and winners were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation for their participation. We wish the contestants good health, academic success and further victories.
