On November 22, 2014, a solemn meeting devoted to the 80th anniversary of Professor of surgical disciplines department №1 of the faculty of continuous professional development Kani Zhumkenovich Musulmanbekov took place in the events hall of KSMU.

Lokhvitsky, T. A. Aliakbarov, M. M. Tusupbekova, K. A. Alikhanova, A. M. Bukenov, the dean of FCPD L.Kh.Asenova, the representative of prosecutor's office of Karaganda region D. Bulatayev, directors of medical organizations M.E.Abeuov – the chief physician of regional clinical hospital of Karaganda, N.Sh.Bidaybayev – the chief physician of the regional TB dispensary, M.D.Zhumakayev – the chief physician of the regional oncological clinic, I. M. Akhmadishin – the chief physician of the center of medical care of veterans of war, the director of Karaganda medical school A. N. Nurbekov, the director of Zhanaarka central regional hospital S. A. Kulmagambetov and also the students of Professor K. Zh. Musulmanbekov. A lot of cordial words were said in this day.

K. Zh. Musulmanbekov had a long, worthy life journey. Every stage of this journey is inextricably linked with the history of our university. Many years of research and teaching activities for the benefit of our university is deeply respected. Fruitful work in the position of Vice-Rector for clinical services and the chairman of Clinical Council, the training of young specialists for the scientific world and practical healthcare, numerous scientific papers on the theory and practice of oncology - these are the milestones that preceded the activities of Kani Zhumkenovich in KSMU.

In this capacity, Kani Zhumkenovich distinguished himself as an experienced and respected leader.
