I have had the rare chance to participate in the International Student Conference on Healthcare (ICHAMS 2014), which was held in Dublin (Ireland), on October 24-25, based on Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI). The purpose of the conference is to present results of research at the international level to promote interaction between medical students from different countries. I presented the report: «The prevalence of ESBL-microorganisms among students of South-Eastern Asia, living in Kazakhstan». My report concerned the problems of the prevalence of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. Report will be published on the platform BioMed Central.

The participants were from Brazil, England, Netherlands, Russia, Nigeria, Iraq, China, India, the UAE and Malaysia, most of whom are trained on the base of RCSI in their countries, i.e. College has affiliates in Asia. Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, founded in 1784 and has a rich history. During the war, surgeons in Napoleon's army were prepared there. Now specialists in different directions are prepared there.

RCSI students and the local population of Dublin are very polite, friendly and cheerful. Dublin itself won my heart with its openness and goodwill.

Trip to ICHAMS 2014 will be a very important and unique experience for me.

I express my gratitude to Vice-Rector A.A. Turmuhambetova and my supervisor A.V. Lavrynenko, and all employees of the SL under the leadership of I.S. Azizov for cooperation and the opportunity to participate in a conference of this level.
