On October 9, at 16:00 the meeting with the 1^st-year students of “General medicine” was held in Karaganda State Medical University. The organizers of the meeting were employees of the department of educational and social work with students, the Commission for religious extremism and terrorism prevention of the Council of educational work. The naib-imam of the city mosque №1 H.Zh. Beysenbaev was invited to this event.

Naib-imam H.Zh.Beysenbayev, quoting Al-Farabi, drew the students’ attention to the fact that the study of science, the accumulation of knowledge is an essential requirement of a Muslim. Under the influence of foreign radical religious centers an idea, that our country is gradually becoming a religious state, is widely sold. This statement is not true. In order to prevent the possible departures of our citizens in trouble spots outside the country, the traditional values ​​of Islam and interreligious harmony in the country must be better promoted.

At the end of the meeting the students received the religious literature approved by Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
