Scientific training of PhD studdents of the second year

From 05/05/2014 to 18/05/2014  PhD studnets - Kaliyeva Dinar, Shaikhin Anuar, Yukhnevich-Nassonova Ekaterina were trained at the David Tvildiani Medical University, Tbilisi, Georgia.


The purpose of the training was to conduct research under the supervision of doctoral foreign managers - Professor Sergo Tabagari and Professor Teimuraz Chachkhiani. The training program has been developed with multi-directional scientific interests of the participants and included a search on the topic of scientific dissertations in “Dr. Daphne Hare” library’s electronic databases. Particularly, performed processing and analysis of data on the prevalence of infectious diseases in different regions of Georgia, studied the tactics of surgical and conservative management of patients with nosologies studied. The opportunity to examine aspects of the organization and management of inpatient and outpatient medical care in Tbilisi’s leading clinics - National Medical Center Acad. O.Gudushauri and CenterMediClub Georgia (Medical Center) was provided as part of the training, as well as participation in the medical and surgical departments profiles, seminars and scientific discussions. During the visit to Tbilisi State Medical University, the foundation for further cooperation with this important medical university on the themes scientific dissertations was laid. It should be noted that much emphasis was placed on the scientific advice of foreign supervisors Professor Sergo and Professor Teimuraz that fully guided and coordinated the preparation of the participants training to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to provide scientific and methodological assistance in working on dissertations.
