Excursion to the “Museum of the political repression victims in Dolynka village”
May 20, 2014 teachers of general educational and socio-economic disciplines E.D. Yaroslavtseva and B.S. Sagyndykova organized the excursion for students of the 1st and 2nd years of the KSMU medical college. The path to follow our tour route was Dolinka village where the Museum of memory of victims of political repression in the former headquarters of KARLAG is situated.
The museum was founded 24.02.2001, on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan. The museum displays the objects of everyday prisoners’ life, documents and photographs of prisoners, prison beds, and many other unique items preserved from those times.
The excursion also included a visit to the "Mom's" cemetery, located in 4 km from the Museum.
