The head of the region awarded a public medal of Kazakhstan People's Assembly «Бірлік» алтын медалі» to Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova – the rector of KSMU, the head of the parliamentary group of Kazakhstan People's Assembly in the regional maslikhat

On the 1^st of May there were the festive events in Karaganda, which were dedicated to the unity of the people of Kazakhstan. According to the tradition, they opened by colorful parade, which was attended by thousands citizens of Karaganda, including representatives of all ethnic and cultural associations, labor collectives of enterprises and organizations, NGOs, and students.

Addressing to the participants of the ceremony, which was held at the Central Park of Culture and Leisure, the akim of the oblast Baurjan Abdishev said: «This holiday symbolizes our unity, friendship and brotherhood that we have maintained and deepened over the years of independence. That is why the President of our country, the nation's leader Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev all the achievements of Kazakhstan directly connects with peace and harmony in the country».

Akim of the region recalled the words of the Head of State, that he said at the XXI Session of the Kazakhstan People's Assembly: «The unity and solidarity are the core values of society. Due to this we raised the economy, strengthened the welfare of citizens, showed the country's future. We made an early implementation of the Strategy-2030. Today, our unity is a key factor in the implementation of the new Strategy-2050».

Friendship, understanding and hardworking of the population of residents of Karaganda region are a reliable basis of socio-economic well-being and positive change in our lives.

«I am sure, that the Celebration of  Unity of Kazakhstan People will always be not only a symbol of harmony, respect and spring renewal, but also confidence in the future», – Baurjan Abdishev said.

The head of the region awarded the public medals of Kazakhstan People's Assembly «Бірлік» алтын медалі» to Uvais Dzhanayev – the chairman of the Chechen-Ingush ethno-cultural association «Vainakh» and Raushan Dosmagambetova – the head of the parliamentary group of Kazakhstan People's Assembly in the regional maslikhat.

The holiday program continued by the regional festival of national cultures «Shanirak of friendship».
