Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Ranking is a global ranking of the world's higher education institutions that evaluates universities in accordance with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This year Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings ranked a record 2,152 universities from 125 countries.

According to the ranking methodology, the university selects at least 4 SDGs out of 17 possible ones (SDG No.17 (partnership for sustainable development) is mandatory). Times Higher Education rating agency then evaluates the university's impact in the implementation of the selected SDGs.

The UN Sustainable Development Goals aim to improve the well-being of the population and protect the planet. The ranking methodology of the Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings is based on the analysis of research, socially oriented programs, resource management, and the university's contribution to education.

Official results will be announced on June 12.
