On March 15, 2024, the student scientific and theoretical conference “Youth in science - the innovation potential of modern Kazakhstan”, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the city of Karaganda, was held by Languages Development Centre.

The conference was attended by 70 people: 1st and 2nd year students of our university, studying in the state language and Russian and their scientific advisors. All the reports were prepared under the guidance of the teaching staff of Languages Development Center of NC JSC KMU.

The Presidium of the conference included the Head of Languages Development Center M.A.Maretbayeva, the Head of Scientific Work Department A.O.Omarova, Professor B.M.Ibraeva, Associate Professor D.V.Sizov.

The conference was held in three sections:

1. Karaganda is the homeland of the great people of the Great Steppe.

2. The word as art: oratory skills of the Kazakh people.

3. Linguistic aspects of interlingual speech activity: topical issues and problems of translation.

The reports were in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages. There were 45 reports in total.

According to the results of the work of the sections, the reports recognized as the best were awarded with I, II and III degrees diplomas. The students who presented their reports at the plenary session were awarded with the speaker diplomas.

The reports were included in the electronic conference proceedings.
