printed materials on the fundamentals of healthy eating, and addressed diabetic
foot prevention in order to prevent vascular complications among patients with
diabetes mellitus.
Under the guidance of Professor
G.G. Eremicheva, second-year residents conducted a round table discussion on
the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic polyneuropathy for doctors and patients
with diabetes mellitus, based on the Communal State Enterprise “Clinic No. 5.”
These measures will help in
compensating for the disease and preventing the progression of vascular
complications in patients with pre-existing diabetes mellitus. They will also
aid in the timely identification of disorders of carbohydrate metabolism within
the population.
