Work within the framework of the Erasmus + HARMONEE project

There was a Spring School of the Erasmus+ HARMONEE
https://www.harmonee.eu project team, coordinated by the University of Milan,
gathered in the picturesque location of Gargnano from March 6 to March 14, 2023.
The educators from the School of Public Health Zhamantaev Olzhas, Bolatova Zhanerke
and Nukeshtayeva Karina represented NCJSC “Karaganda Medical University”. Participants
presented and conducted pilot sessions of educational disciplines developed
within the framework of the Consortium for "Public Health" and
"Medical and Preventive Medicine". In total, nine modules
(Epidemiology of Non-Communicable Diseases, Global Burden of Disease, etc.)
were prepared in the framework of the project. In addition, nine research
projects within the developed disciplines were presented.
Eight days of
fruitful work flew by. A great friend and partner of our university, Claudio
Colosio sends a great greeting to the staff and students of NCJSC "KMU".
He expects that in the near future he will have the opportunity to start
research on asbestosis with colleagues from the Institute of Public Health and
Occupational Health.
