Mastered the rehabilitation program of German colleagues

From 28.11.2022 to 8.12. 2022 within the framework of the memorandum between the Karaganda Medical University and the Clinic Schmieder (Stiftung & Co.) KG (Germany), the staff of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Rehabilitology of NCJSC "KMU" Professor Sheveleva N. and assistant professor Dubovikhin A. visited Kliniken Schmieder for the purpose of practical and theoretical exchange of knowledge.

At Kliniken Schmieder in Allensbach, a five-stage concept is used to implement the rehabilitation program. The therapeutic approach includes several stages which are labeled from A to E. In Stage A, emergency treatment occurs immediately after a stroke or an accident with neurological consequences. During this period, patients are in the intensive care unit, where first of all is to stabilize the indicators of their vital functions.

During the visit to the clinic, a meeting was held with colleagues from Schmieder, presentations were listened by Schmieder experts, directions of future cooperation on academic mobility and joint scientific work were discussed.
