From November 14 to November 16, 2022, within the framework of academic mobility programs, senior teachers of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology of the NCJSC " Medical University of Astana " Rakhmetova B., Zhizhila S. and Mustafina B. conducted practical classes on the discipline "Epidemiology" of the module "Scientific Project for the 2nd and 5th year students of the specialty "General Medicine" of the NCJSC "Medical University of Karaganda".

The discipline "Epidemiology" for 5th year students enrolled in the educational program "General Medicine" is taught by teachers of the School of "Public Health".

The materials of practical classes in scope and content are in conformity with syllabus and the program of the discipline "Epidemiology".

During the classes, students developed preventive and anti-epidemic measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and spread of infectious diseases, their localization and elimination, preventive measures to prevent occupational infection of medical workers, an infection control program, acquainted with the skills of epidemiological examination of foci of infection.

The training was conducted on a high professional level, using innovative teaching technologies, elements of problem-based learning, the feedback has indicated positive feedback from students.
