Assistant professors of the Epidemiology module of the School of Public Health and Biomedicine - N.O. Alysheva and M.M. Beisekova visited the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology of the AMU within the framework of the academic mobility program of the teaching staff between the Astana Medical University NC JSC (AMU) and the Karaganda Medical University NC JSC (KMU) in the period from 11/15/2021 to 11/26/2021. The head of the Department of Public Health and Epidemiology of the AMU is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.A. Musina.

During the academic mobility to the AMU, problem lectures were given and practical training were held for the 4th-year students of the specialty “General Medicine” in “Prevention of nosocomial infections” in the online format at the Zoom platform. Practical classes were conducted using interactive teaching methods. All types of classes were intense and interesting. Discussions were held with students on the prevention of various nosological forms of nosocomial infections.
