On November 17, a republican meeting of student clubs “Sanaly Urpaq” was held at the Karaganda Technical University in the online format. The participants were employees and students of higher educational institutions of the country.

In the first part of the meeting, the Compliance Officer of the Karaganda Medical University, Alexandr Urmashov, presented his experience in establishing a compliance office at the university, on the work carried out within the League of Academic Integrity, improving anti-corruption legislation and a system of measures aimed at forming academic integrity. The speaker also noted the importance of public control in the activities of universities and the active participation of students in decision-making.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the republican project office “Sanaly Urpaq” Tokushev Kaiyrzhan made a speech, focusing on the need to further strengthen students’ self-government, work on the legal education of young people, and fill the information resources of universities with high-quality and correct information.

As a result of the event, together with Kaiyrzhan Akhmetbekovich, an agreement was reached on joint work to promote anti-corruption compliance in the education system.
