On December 12, the solemn meeting and concert dedicated to one of the main national holidays of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Independence Day were held at KMU. Independence Day is a special holiday. Twenty-eight years ago, a new state appeared on the world map - the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is a timeless feat of an entire generation.

The award winner of the “Zamandas-2018” and the Youth Prize of the Karaganda City Akim “Daryn-2018” in the nomination “Young Leader of the Year”, compliance officer Alexander Urmashov made a presentation. He noted the importance of the young generation in the formation of the state, maintaining peace and harmony in a multinational country.

Friendship of peoples, mutual understanding and solidarity - the foundation on which the new Kazakhstan is built!

Turmukhambetova Anar Akylbekovna, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Science, opened the awarding ceremony for the university staff.

The breastplate «Денсаулық сақтау ісіне қосқан үлесі үшін» was awarded:

1. Abatov Nurkasi Tulepbergenovich, professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases;

2. Abikeeva Rymkul Idrisovna, doctor, epidemiologist of the clinic of professional health;

5. Serikova Daria Kokashovna, otorhinolaryngologist of the clinic of the medical university;

6. Tokubaeva Maygul Kuanyshevna, deputy dean for science and internationalization of the school of dentistry.

The medal «Еңбек ардагері» of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan received:

By Order No. 410 of December 11, 2019, Board Chairman - Rector, thanked seventy-three (73) university staff for the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The award ceremony continued with a festive concert. Participants in the poetry club "Zhyr Zhauhar" performed touching verses of their own composition.

 The dombra orchestra pleased the audience with its performance. Dance groups “Karakoz” and “Golden Step” prepared the new compositions.

The songs performed by Tuleev Aidar, Eralieva Dana and the quartet "Zhіgіtter" were warmly received by the public.

The final chord of the evening was the final song «Көк тудың желбірегені» performed by all participants of the concert program.
