Valuable advice from Dr. Popp

As part of the SES (Senior Experten Service) program, Dr. Rudiger Popp (Germany) has been invited to the Department of Internal diseases 3 of the NCJSC “MUK”. Dr. Rudiger Popp has extensive experience, knowledge and skills in project management in the field of clinical research and international research projects, has the ability to interpret statistical analysis data, compile research documents and final research reports. Dr. Popp worked in England, supervising clinical trials in Europe and beyond. He has rich experience in pharmaceutical companies (Nycomed GmbH, MIKA Pharma GmbH, Mucos Pharma GmbH & Co...)

Since October 14, 2019, Dr. Popp has conducted seminars on project management and improving the quality of clinical research and research projects with doctoral students and undergraduates of the MUK.

Since October 21, 2019, Dr. R. Popp has conducted individual monitoring of the implementation of scientific projects of doctoral students Lee V., Kosybayeva A., Shauhat D., Bekov E., Tulegenova D., Dubovikhin A. and undergraduates Bakieva K., Madieva L., Mamashalieva S. of the department of Internal diseases No. 3. While working with doctoral students and undergraduates, the doctor has given valuable recommendations necessary to improve the quality of scientific research, as well as the quality of documentation, design and conclusions. An advice was given on how to design reports with the basic requirements for speaking abroad.

Dr. R. Popp shared his experience in organizing the scientific process and the opportunities for continuing education in research organizations in Europe and the USA.

At the Department of Internal Diseases No. 3, several dissertation studies on occupational pathology are carried out, in connection with which, with the student and the staff, Dr. Popp visited the training mine to familiarize himself with the process of the working environment and the etiological factors that determine the development of occupational diseases.

Foreign experience, broadcast during the visit of Dr. R. Popp, is useful for further scientific work.
