In memory of the first rector
Today, November 6, 2019, marks the 116th birthday of
the founder of the Karaganda Medical Institute, the first rector, Peter
Moiseevich Pospelov. The traditions laid down by him continue to live in our
university.
This year the university museum was replenished with a new portrait of P. M. Pospelov, written in simple pencil. The work was created by our student, studying in the specialty "Technology of pharmaceutical production" Asylzhan Batyrkhanov. The guy from childhood showed and unleashed abilities in the visual arts.
The idea to paint a portrait was born during his first fascinating tour of the museum. Head Naila Fuadbekovna Sayfulina gratefully accepted the work that now adorns the first museum hall dedicated to the establishment and development of the university.
