The development of entrepreneurial thinking: the experience of the Karaganda Medical University
International Conference
"Innovations and Entrepreneurship in Higher Education" was held as
part of the Erasmus + InnoCENS project on October 3-4, in Nur-Sultan, at the L.
Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The conference was organized by the
Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center
for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility.
The aim of the conference was to provide expert support to universities in the development of an entrepreneurial culture among students through interaction with industrial enterprises and business community.
Along with top universities from Sweden, Spain, Finland, Belarus, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Karaganda Medical University took part in the conference. The report of the coordinator of the project “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship”, compliance officer Alexandr Urmashov and startup “StarSHOES” of the team “AKB”, presented by the ambassador of the project “Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship”, the 5th year student of the School of Medicine Alexandra Kim, aroused great interest among foreign colleagues and were highly appreciated. It was noted that in modern Kazakhstan, it is very important to develop entrepreneurship in the field of medicine, and “KMU” NJSC is a leading university in creating the conditions for the introduction and development of entrepreneurial education.
The project “Ecosystem of student entrepreneurship” has been implemented at our university since 2017, and its result is innovative projects of university students.
