125th anniversary of Saken Seyfullin

А poetry evening dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the founder of modern Kazakh literature, poet, playwright, publicist and statesman Saken Seifullin was held at the Medical University of Karaganda.
Miras Asan journalist of the newspaper “Egemen Kazakhstan”, poetess Shaukenova Ulmeken and editor of the “Bayantau” newspaper Elaman Kabdilashim attended the meeting as invited guests.
Students got acquainted with the life and work of Saken Seyfullin. Wonderful lyrical works of the poet performed by the guests of the evening were sounded at the meeting. Beginning poets, participants of the author-poetry club "Zhyr Zhaukhar" pleased the audience with excerpts from their works.
