Employments with the use of innovation technologies

28 May 2019

Within the framework of academic mobility from April 26 to May 4, 2019.  I, Associate Professor of the Emergency Medical Care Department Orazbayeva Bahytkul Serikovna, worked at the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A. Yasawi.

Today, the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is one of the leading multidisciplinary universities in Kazakhstan. Today, at 10 faculties of the university, they study in 54 specialties of bachelor's degree, 30 specialties - masters, 11 specialties - PhD students, 5 specialties - residencies and 6 specialties of internship, which are trained by about 8 thousand students , undergraduates, residents, interns and doctoral candidates from 15 countries of the world.

Academic mobility was held at the Department of Emergency Medical Care of the Faculty of General Medicine.

During the visit, we attended practical classes for fourth-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine, conducted by the head of the department Babayeva Kumisay Sabetovna Ph.D., as well as the department’s lectures on the following topics: “Emergency conditions for diseases of the cardiovascular system”, “Sudden death”.

According to specialized programs developed within the framework of academic mobility, I conducted practical training with fourth-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine. Classes were conducted using innovative educational technologies on topics such as “Closed abdominal trauma”, “Intestinal invagination”, “Injured inguinal hernia”. Teaching was formed from a combination of traditional and active teaching methods with a focus on unlocking the potential of students, the display of their creative capabilities and abilities.

Students were active, solved situational problems, answered test questions, and asked many questions themselves. It should be noted that during the classes, the psychological microclimate was benevolent, working environment. Students perceived the training material with great enthusiasm.

According to the teachers of Kh.A. Yasawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, who were present at the classes, practical exercises were conducted at a high pedagogical and methodical level with a detailed analysis of the material, the goals and objectives were fully achieved.

Also we had a tour of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A. Yasawi, with a visit to the museum of university's history. I was very much delighted by  the scientific library, where for today the total book fund is about 1 million books. In the library you can see rare books and manuscripts of the late XIX - early XX century.  In our spare time, we had the opportunity to visit the cultural and historical sights of Turkestan.

I would like to express my gratitude to the administration and faculty of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kh.A. Yasawi for warm welcome and the opportunity to exchange experiences. Especially I want to mention the head of the department of Emergency Medicine of the Faculty of General Medicine, Babaeva Kumisay Sabetovna Ph.D.,  for ease of communication and goodwill.
