Form research skills
At the Department of Public Health, among the 3rd year students in the "General Medicine" specialty according to the "Patient and Society" module, as part of the applying of science-oriented training in the educational process the defense of posters was held. During working process, students analyzed the main indicators of population’s health status, the impact of risk factors on the public health and activities of health organizations.
All stages of their projects: literary review, sociological research, statistical processing and interpretation of the results obtained, the students conducted under the guidance of teachers. It was an excellent experience in applying the knowledge and skills mastered in an educational program. The students showed how they mastered scientific skills, statistical, analytical, sociological research methods, how to work in a team, how to arrange project and perform in public.
