From 1 to 4 April in the city of Nur Sultan held a republican chess tournament among students for the Cup Dinara Saduakassova. There were 124 athletes (more than 50 teams), from 29 higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan whoparticipated in the tournament. Among the players were international masters of sports, masters of FIDE, Candidates of Master of Sport, etc. The Tournament was held in the Swiss system with the time control of 15 minutes and the addition of 10 seconds per move.

A Team of medical University of Karaganda represented Abil Aray, Sarsembayev Ablaikhan, Esenbekov Magzhan, Zhakazhanova Zhuldyz and Musin Madi, the coach of the team- Kovalenko Lyudmila. As a result of the tournament the 1st place was taken by the team of IITU (Almaty), the 2nd place – team of KazNU.Al-Farabi Kazakh national University, the 3^rd place – the team of the Eurasian national University (Nur-Sultan). Our team entered the top of the twenty of strongest.
