In the period from  the 21^st of  September to 28^th December 4^th year "General Medicine" department’ students  received training  on academic mobility program in Kursk State Medical University. The training took place in the disciplines of "Surgical Diseases" and "Obstetrics and Gynecology".

The Kursk Medical Institute established in 1935 and since 1994 the Medical University, has trained more than 35,000 doctors, pharmacists and other health care professionals.

KSMU is the largest educational institution in the region. At present, about 19 thousand people study at the university, of which more than 7,000 are students receiving higher education; about 900 are students of the secondary vocational education system; more than 500 - residents and graduate students; more than 10,000 are health care and higher education specialists enrolled in supplementary education programs. Every year almost 1,000 applicants become students of the medical university. Education depending on the profile of the specialty and form of education is carried out at 12 faculties of KSMU according to 78 basic educational programs.

Kursk State Medical University is one of the oldest medical universities in Russia and therefore occupies  leading positions  in the national educational rankings. For today about 10 thousand people study at this university.

Today, KSMU’s educational programs are accredited in 16 foreign countries:  Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Turkey, Nigeria, Cameroon, Jordan, Thailand, Namibia, South Africa and the UK.

Kursk State Medical University is a world renowned educational institution that trains medical personnel for more than 40 countries of the world.

Currently, more than 2500 foreign citizens from Malaysia, India, Brazil, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Thailand and other countries are studying at this university. The number of foreign students exceeds 35%. Of the total number of foreign students, 41.4% are citizens of the BRICS member countries, 2.4% are citizens of the CIS member countries, 28.3% are citizens of the SCO member countries.

Well-known scientists and educators, academicians of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, RAMS, scientists and educators, honored doctors, professors and health care workers under the guidance of whom our training was carried out  at Kursk State Medical University. Under their leadership, we have carried out repeated assistance in surgeries in the departments of thoracic, cardiac surgery, pediatric,  urological, general surgical and obstetric profile. Our students took an active part in the analysis of clinical cases, as well as making appointment. Each teacher made an invaluable contribution to our education, the formation of clinical thinking and professional future.

Students had the opportunity to visit the cultural and historical sights of Kursk outside the educational process. On the eve of the New Year, the rector of the Kursk State Medical University, the Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, the deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V.A. Lazarenko on  December 11, 2018 foreign students were invited to the Kursk State Drama Theater. Named after A.S. Pushkin to watch a retro comedy “Stepchild”  based on a play by USSR playwright Vasily Shkvarkin.

The students of Karaganda State Medical University are grateful to all the staff: the international department, the leadership of the dean's office, the rector of Kursk State Medical University - Professor Lazarenko Viktor Anatolyevich. As well as all faculty members of the Surgical Diseases and Obstetrics and Gynecology departments, for their high professionalism and competence, goodwill, dedication and contribution to the education of our students.
