With the support of the Karaganda Region Akimat and the Regional Health Care Department of the Karaganda Region, the building of the «City Hospital № 2»regional state enterprise was transferred to the trust department of the RSE on the right of economic management«Karaganda State Medical University» of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the implementation of the «Densaulyk»state program of health care development of Kazakhstan for 2016-2019 and the road map of the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan «Modernization of medical education», it is planned to develop an integrated academic center with the development of the trinity – education, practice and science.

During his visit to the Karaganda region, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ye.A.Birtanov visited the clinic of Karaganda Medical University.

The clinic will allow combining outpatient, in-patient care replacing, inpatient assistance on the principle of providing a full cycle of medical services. Therapeutic, diagnostic and educational processes will be carried out by the teaching staff of the clinical departments, this will allow rational use of medical personnel (doctor, teacher, scientist in one person), will provide high material and professional motivation of the personnel.

On the basis of the clinic of Karaganda Medical University, modern methods of diagnosis and treatment will be introduced in conjunction with a strategic partner from leading international universities.

The clinic of Karaganda Medical University is located in a 3-floor capital building, located at 3 Kochegarka street, covers an area of 3 900 m². The amount of investment by the university for the purchase of modern medical diagnostic and educational equipment and furniture amounted to more than 800 million tenge. In the structure of the clinic are:

2 Laboratory block (LB)

3. Block of radiation diagnosis (BRD)

4. Administrative block (AB)

5. Block for visitors (VB)

6. Surgical block (SB)

7. Operational block (OB)

8. Resuscitation block (RB)

9. Therapeutic block (TB)

Clinic will provide inpatient and inpatient care replacing assistance to the adult population of the region at the level of national and international standards within the framework of the guaranteed amount of free medical care and the FSMI.

The main tasks of the clinic are:

Realization of the trinity – education, practice and science

Provision of inpatient and inpatient care replacing assistance to the adult population of the city and region by the faculty of the university

Conduct consultations on difficult patients with the involvement of the leading university staff

Training of interns, residents and doctors

Implementation of the own and borrowed scientific developments in the field of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation

Creation of additional places for the employment of technical workers, medical workers of middle and junior level
